A plethora of plastic bags

One of the banes of  modern life, along with charity muggers, is the endless piles of plastic bags you get shoved through your front door, entreating you to fill them with everything from your hard acquired  tat to the clothes off your back. Well, if you live in North Norfolk our do nothing councillors have persuaded  Kier, who do our local bin collection, & do that at the same pace as an arthritic woodlouse with Alzheimer's , to also pick up any unwanted clothes.

So let me get this straight. Everyone is trying to economise firstly, but our local do nothings her persuaded our lacklustre bin men to pick up bagged clothes for recycling.Yet another plastic bag begging to be filled. I use the bloody things for bin liners to be honest. When are Councillor Steptoe & his ilk going to realise that we want them to spend our council tax on stuff like road repairs, maintenance etc, there are more than enouh charities plying us with placcy bags as it is?
