Mt brother Mark, at 47, has managed to get himself an admin job. He will only be working 16hrs a week & making a little extra money. But as a result of working these few hours he no longer qualifies for help with the rent or council tax.
If, on the other hand he was one of those feckless arseholes who cant wait to get their girlfriends pregnant for the benefits, & never intends to work again, they'd be climbing over each other in the benefits dept to throw money at him.
Strikes me that the worst treated minority in Britain is actually the single man. You pay as much in as anyone but frankly get fuck all back.
